As Dottid continues to grow, we are always looking for people who will bring experience and value to our team so that we can better serve our customers and continue improving our platform. Investing in top tier talent is what we would consider a core value. Therefore, we have spent the past few months building a fantastic executive team. We are thrilled to announce that last week we brought on the last piece of our leadership puzzle, our new Chief Operating Officer (COO), William Bailey. William will be responsible for Dottid’s day-to-day operational success and be an integral team member contributing to the company’s growth strategy.
During his 12+ years career in commercial real estate, William has served a variety of roles including the Chief Administrative Officer at Stream Realty where he was responsible for corporate accounting, human resources, payroll, IT, and risk management, all of which helped maximized Stream’s growth over his tenure. Before joining Dottid, William was responsible for the operational startup and asset stabilization at The Union Uptown, an 800,000 square foot mixed-use development in the heart of Uptown Dallas.
As a leading expert in the real estate industry, when asked why he chose Dottid, Bailey said:
“In my experience, the CRE industry has been underserved by technology and there needs to be disruption in the marketplace. People are used to having a smartphone in their hands to manage their daily lives from taking phone calls to managing personal bank accounts. Commercial Property Owners, Asset Managers, and Leasing Agents should have innovative technology at their fingertips that allows them to transact business more efficiently…Dottid is that solution and I couldn’t be happier to be apart of the team.”
And the team could not be happier to have William on board. CEO, Kyle Waldrep has been working on solidifying his leadership team for over a year. With a robust product that is in market and serving customers, an industry and COVID-19 environment that is ripe for innovation, having a complete and diverse leadership team is the icing on the cake for Dottid.
“They are the go-getters, always thinking ahead with new, innovative ideas and how to solve any future problems our customers may face. The team can solve the problems in their buckets well, whether it’s from sales, product, or operations. Being in Prop Tech allows for the intersection of both the CRE community and the tech community. This is where opportunity lies for Dottid. We embrace the different opinions and thoughts that always bring new depths and layers to the conversation, even those that aren’t from a real estate perspective. This forward-thinking will allow us to go further and do great work”, said CEO Kyle Waldrep.
Regarding Willam joining the team as COO, Kyle said, “He’s experienced in every piece of commercial real estate, from being in the brokerage community and to providing operational guidance in the investor and operating community. He embraces Dottid’s proactivity and will be a fresh set of eyes particularly from an operational standpoint. We’re excited to see what he’ll bring to Dottid’s future.”
“Dottid was not built by the real estate industry, but for the real estate industry. As someone who understands the obstacles within this industry, we are so excited to have him on board and look forward to his contributions in continuing to fuse both technology and commercial real estate to better help the in user. Welcome to the Dottid team, William!”
